I had been using Winvn as my newsgroup browser. I was very pleased with
it. It was easy to use, had access to about 40k newsgroups, and it was
not necessary to subscribe to a newsgroup in order to read its contents. I
had a disk problem and had to reformat the partition that contained Winvn.
When I downloaded a new copy of this program I found that there were several
key files missing and it would not run. Since it is a freebee there is in
fact no tech support. Can anyone suggest a newsgroup browser that has
similar properties as Winvn, or how to create the missing files for Winvn so
that I can run it? Thanks Lionel
