Metastock does accept subfolders WHEN you also add subfolder to the Destination "Folder:"-line,
eg in your example:
-Destination----
Folder: "D:\MetaData\QtMonster\BB Stocks"
or
Folder: D:\MetaData\QtMonster\MutFnds
Do NOT click Browse + Save. These option are "not active".
>From Keyboard, just type the above lines in the "Folder:" small box.
