The DownLoader will collect EOD data from the Signal Data Manager but it
only collects the current days data.  If you miss a day the data is not
accessible by The DownLoader as the Data Manager does not keep historical
data.

If you use eSignal and MetaStock Professional 7.0, MetaStock is able to
obtain history on daily files from the eSignal history server.  You are able
to use that data to update daily files for missed periods, but there is no
set amount of data available in that history server.  The DownLoader itself
does not collect from the eSignal history server.  You would utilize a merge
routine to take the data from MetaStock Professional and store it in your
existing daily data files.

Hello list,

I have a question on Metatstock + DBC esignal

I have currently MS 6.52 EOD, and I am considering switching/upgrading to MS
PRo.

I would like to know if it is possible to get all quotes EOD using the
downloader (for historics and eod or weekly based scans) as well as
real-time quotes, or should I need to keep my TC2000 for eod historics.

This question is important also for vacations. What should happen if I don't
get quotes real time.
