Thanks to Ken, wander@xxxxxxxx, we have found and corrected the Formula File
upgrade problems some of you have seen. The problems arise from two very
specific circumstances that the vast majority of you will not have and
therefore you will not see a problem. However, some of you, like Ken, may
see the problem.
We currently have a workaround to the problem and will have the fix
incorporated in the next batch of CD's made which should be sent to
manufacturing shortly.
However, if you are upgrading to MetaStock Professional version 7.0, I
recommend you do the following:
1) Make a backup copy of the file MS65form.dta.
2) If, during the upgrade you have problems with the formula file upgrade,
simply cancel the formula file upgrade, or, cancel the entire upgrade
process. Remove the MS65form.dta file from your MetaStock Professional
folder and then upgrade your software.
3) Contact us here at support@xxxxxxxxx or (801) 265-9998 and we will walk
you through the workaround process which is not easy to explain in an email.
