Yes, I agree about Walkenbach's "gee whiz" and "neat" style. If you're still
have trouble with coding charts you might want to look at Steve Roman's
"Writing Excel Macros" from O'Reilly. He has about 60 pages on coding
charts. He's a no nonsense "just code" kind of guy.<G>

You might also want to check out the "Microsoft Excel 97 Developer's
Handbook" for lots of info on class modules, etc. It basically assumes that
you have gone through the 2 first stages of learning Excel, i.e., a) using
Excel, writing formulas and using functions, and b) using VBA code to create
and maintain your workbooks.

Since what we're trying to do is develop our own personal applications to
use with Metastock, this will give you a good overview etc. and talks about
API calls and writing professional style code. What a joke! I think that we
suffer from too much ambition and not enough talent and training.
