I think how the $8 upgrade works is that if you buy a new copy of one of
their products whne an upgrade is due out soon, they will let you upgrade
for the Shipping and Handling charges. Thats how i got office 97, i bought
office for Win95 at a store that was going out of buisness and verything was
75% off. I bought office for Win 95 and hten upgraded for hte cost of S/H
As for the upgrade Office 97 is good enough, Excel 2000 offers some valid
points to upgrade to it but the rest not worth it.

Also that $8 upgrade price sounds to good to be
true. Is that some sort of pirated copy from North
Korea; I can't believe that Microsoft would sell
anything for $8.
