The problem may be in how the internet program is configured.  I supect
that your clients are using AT&T as their isp.  While At&t is a good
service, they have a problem with their software such that the user has to
disable the automatic dialup.  Perhaps your clients can use an automation
program that will activate "connect"  and disconnect the connection when
they have finished the download.
