Guy, although I haven't used their service for many months, I heard that
Prophet Direct is now compatible with Downloader 6.52. You might want to
contact their Technical Support people.

Benzie, in addition to price, other considerations are access problems,
cleanliness of the data and the symbol set they use. You will want to avoid
switching from, say, the Reuters symbol set to someone who uses the
Dial/Data symbols and then maybe on to someone who uses something entirely
different. You will be faced with either converting the symbols manually,
or scrapping all your cleansed data.

The only thing I would add to Mark Scheier's comments, Benzie, is that
because data providers each have their own unique ways of driving a person
insane, try out as many 30-day trial periods as possible (ideally,
concurrently).

Good luck.
