<P>Hi all,</P>
<P>Firstly, if you no longer wish to receive AutoIt update mails then please
drop me a line.</P>
<P>After five days of programming (and fending off the girlfriend :) ) I've
finished AutoItv2.0. It contains 90% of the suggestions that I've received
from you (the other 10% will take a while :) ). Please note that there are
quite a few diferences which may make stop your old scripts from working
(sorry!), so I'd keep hold of v1.8 for those (I'll leave it up at my
website). The changes were neccessary to implement your suggestions and
they should ensure that future changes are kept to a minimum. The changes
are listed below.</P>
<P>As always, send your bugs, suggestions and example scripts to me.
(Updated language translations would also be very welcome *beg* *grovel* :)
)</P>
<P>AutoIt Home Page: <A
href="http://www.hidden.demon.co.uk/AutoIt/index.html">http://www.hidden.demon.co.uk/AutoIt/index.html</A></P>
<P>Best wishes,</P>
<P>Jon.</P>
<P> </P>
<P><STRONG><U>12/08/99 - v2.0</U></STRONG></P>
<P><STRONG>NB.</STRONG> Some changes mean that old AutoIt scripts may need to be
modified slightly - Please re-read the documentation carefully if you are
upgrading! Hence the jump from v1.8 to v2.0 - SORRY, but things needed changing
to ease implementation of new commands that have been requested. I personally
use v1.8 for old scripts and v2.0 for any new scripts I write.</P>
