Local good tech said Win98 really does not use over 128m meg ram..
unless many gyrations and then still not much. He said NT was designed for
big RAM.
I think explorations might be more disk intensive than perhaps real time
intraday
data. so maybe depends on the task type.
I keep hearing good performance from Celerons for the money. My 2-
AMDK6-2
350meghz x 100meghz PC's with TNT graphics seem to crank ok for me.
I hear the TNT2 graphics and the coming MATROX G400 may be great chart
graphics cards .
