For ribbons to be visable on Chart, you will have to attach an Expert to that security's Chart.

To Create an Expert : (see man/p.365-411)
----------------------------
-"Open" a security
-click "Man with Hat"-button on the Button-Bar or click "Tools|Expert Advisor"
-click "New" in the "Expert Advisor"-dialog window
-click "Name"-TAB in the Expert Editor
-in "Name"-field type "TSI - W Blau"
-click "Trends"-TAB
-in "Bullish"-field type: (copy and paste from this mail)
{TSI}
100*(Mov(Mov(Roc(C,1,$),25,E),13,E)/
Mov(Mov(Abs(Roc(c,1,$)),25,E),13,E))
>{TSIMA}
Mov(100*(Mov(Mov(Roc(C,1,$),25,E),13,E)/
Mov(Mov(Abs(Roc(c,1,$)),25,E),13,E)),20,S)
-in "Bearish"-field (reversed condition) type:
{TSI}
100*(Mov(Mov(Roc(C,1,$),25,E),13,E)/
Mov(Mov(Abs(Roc(c,1,$)),25,E),13,E))
<{TSIMA}
Mov(100*(Mov(Mov(Roc(C,1,$),25,E),13,E)/
Mov(Mov(Abs(Roc(c,1,$)),25,E),13,E)),20,S)
-click "Ribbon"-button
-in "Expert Ribbon"-dialog window apply all of your preferences (for this Expert only), eg
 apply "Display Ribbon in Chart" etcetera by clicking the factory "Default" and
 unchecking the "Display Vertical Lines"
-click OK
-click OK again

Optionaly, thus not required, you can also Color (or "Symbol" or "Alert") the Chart and/or
the Chart's Price-bars by clicking the "Highlights"-TAB, then to click "New", then to type
the "Name" + to set the same preferenced "Conditions" for each "Color", eg where
the Conditions for each Color are the same Conditions as were for the "Bullish" and
"Bearish" formulas given above.

To Attach an Expert to a Chart:
---------------------------
-right-click the Chart (eg an empty field in the Chart)
-click "Expert Advisor|Attach"
-in "Attach Expert"-dialog window select or double click your Expert (eg the "TSI - W Blau")

Note that when Chart consist of the Price Indicator PLUS inner windows, the ribbon most
of the times will be printed at the bottom of and in one of the inner windows, and not what
everyone would expect at the bottom of and in the Price Indicator's window (a minor bug).

To Detach an Expert from a Chart:
-----------------------------
-right-click the Chart (eg an empty field in the Chart)
-click "Expert Advisor|Detach"

MEM-usage from Attaching an Expert
-----------------
-Experts are huge MEM-consuming little "programs". When active (=attached) will use
  up resources dramaticaly.
-This MEM-usage is for the time being only, eg when/while a Chart is Opened. On closing
  the Chart it (the Expert) will be released from MEM.
-The above formulas can be shortened (v6.5+) for instance, by using the in the previous
  mail given 2nd (SMATSI) example, but note that from setting any variables in formulas
  in general and for PC's having many memory problems in particular, the display (and
  any re-builds) of Charts will also put a burden on the PC's MEM-capacity (resources), eg
  each variable will be stored in its own MEM-section, ready for direct usage, and this
  storing as such can slow down (or sometimes crash) the OS.
-Therefore by typing the full formulas here, this then will omit and prevent the non-stop
  "constant" MEM-usage, that would be otherwise applicable when using the variables
  in formulas.
-Try to prevent the usage of the "PREV" function (use Ref() instead)
-Huge History databases will have to be calculated as well, thus try to avoid these files
-This is just to keep in mind when wanting to smoothly work with Charts that have an Expert
  "constantly" attached to them.
-Otherwise, the Expert is a great Tool that was added to the program.

Do send a gif for example of "Your" (Expert) system to the List.

Ton Maas
