It sounds like you want several multi-chart templates. You create these
by creating a layout looking like what you want, saving it, and then
doing a File | Save As | Template.
Apply this multi-chart template to a security and you will have what you
want. You can apply the multi-chart template to an already open
security, or apply the template as you open a new security.
The next security feature will not apply this template automatically.
You will need to open the security from the open dialog and apply the
template at the same time. I will pass along your suggestion to have
the next security feature work with a multi-chart template as well.

Subject: RE: MetaStock Layout Question
I don't know what Nicholas wants to do, but I have another question to
complete Nicholas question.
What I want to do is display automatically several templates at the same
time (for example having the triple-screen system (as described in
Alexander
Elder Book, or having different templates for the same stock), thus
giving a
layout of several windows for a single stock.
I would like all templates be changed at the same time when I select a
stock. Does this function exist in Metastock, if not, I would like to
suggest this as a Metastock enhancement.

Nicholas,
Just exactly what are you trying to do? Does your 9 templates
consist
of several different stocks or just different indicators on one stock?
If
the latter, make a new template of the entire layout. Then you can
apply
that template to any stock.
