Thanks very much Guy.. that sounds really interesting. I, and probably most
here, appreciate that bit of expounding very much. Sorry for sounding
critical about vagueness.. that really was not the right word. It was just
my own extreme curiousity... my math & physics background kicking in :)
AND

Guy, I especially like the parts about dropping gapping and using more
RECENT
activity as input. Sounds pretty logical. Actually reviewing and refreshing
our old complex best accomplishments CAN be a rewarding experience. But,
really, thanks for what you told us... and any tidbit more <g>...
well I hope you dont go out of your way. Out of the BILLIONS of combinations
of indicators applied to various data... most of which DONT work
exceptionally well.. it is just enlightening to have ANY idea of what
reflects factors & methods
that DO work. SO many thousands of man-hours are going into systems that
just seem to work temporarily. That is another reason why a system more
heavily based on more current data makes sense to me.
Thanks again.. we really appreciate it. It sounds FASCINATING. Yes those
old computers are hard to get going again..Previous Norton Utilities helped me
to do a rewrite disk data in place on one to restore the magnetic signal
strength for
processing. Yes DOS sure did run faster than WIN98.. I bet that screams
fast on
a new 350Meg hz . Sincere thanks once again.
