Thanks for your email.

No ... there are no macros in the workbook.

Everything is written in in-cell code. The basic organizational flow is left
to right. The code uses the "!" convention to reference earlier or
"leftward" worksheets. To use the "basic" code, i.e., in a single worksheet,
take out the worksheet references.

There are 5 or 6 worksheets in the workbook. My current version is double
that size,  soon to be much larger.

If you can't access Excel 97 files  ... Microsoft have a free "viewer"
available that you can download from their web site, see the earlier Excel
posts.

To change the data, just paste in your new data --> fill the "median"
formula down the column. Fill all of the "classification" columns down.

Using the "&" function creates a "text" number that needs to be converted to
"number" number using copy --> paste special (with values checked) then
sorted.

I still don't know what I'll be doing with the histograms and further data
preprocessing, I'm currently doing histograms for each of the 8 day
patterns. But that's still up in the air. Any suggestion would be
appreciated.
