This is a re-send of earlier send mail, and as it did not arrive at the
List-server,
have had to split the mail in 2 seperate mails(part 1 and part
2).

>One problem in Excel -- there is no place to store "in
cell" code bits and
>pieces for future
reference.
>
>Maybe someone can think of a simple library type
access system. I just store
>them on emails that I send to myself. Pretty
primitive?
---------------------------------------------------------------

You
can have in a cell:
-the cell's formula itselve as printed
text
or
-the cell's formula outcomes as results

both
are ASCI-text, but treated differently(eg one is invisable / hidden) and
choice
is users. It requires for you to make the cell's formula to be the
cell's definite text.
What you will have to do then is to "convert"
the formula to displayed text, much
like the formula's outcome(s) are
displayed text .

Check it in the Excel's Help files (if I'm not mistaken
it requires for you to apply
the Text function or one of the functions like
it), I am sure it is given somewhere
in the subjects "funtions" or
"conversion" or "text" part of the Help.
