Stockwiz
I use it for more than one year now, I just follow Canadian Quotes
I just use it as a database and export around 1000 quotes each day in ascii
and import them with the downloader,it work's perfect, until now I use an
old proversion (1.4), which I received when I was betatester
I didn't program in SAL because the documentation is very poor, and why
program existing indicators in metastock ?
Canadian data is not bad when I compare to other supplier, but ticker are
not the same as Reuters or dialdata
Stockwiz: AC for air Canada, and volume of Toronto only
Reuters: AC=TO , AC=MO one for Montreal and one for Toronto
Dialdata I don't remenber but It's different of Reuters and Stockwiz
Also with Stockwiz you will have a big database for Canadian stocks, an
other big one for US stocks, an other one for mutual funds and a small one
for index
Index are poor and hard to use with stockwiz, very often you have the
ticker and no name, when ticker is not significative ex:$0801I , it's hard
to work with it, and not always accurate, I think they check nothing
Service is poor, don't expect an answer, facturation is OK, you will be
billed the first of each month regularely.
I download the last version who is 100mo, and installed it on my portable
PC, it works well exept it was immediatly a lite version, personnaly I
prefer my old version who is faster.
I can't speak about the US quotes, I just maintain the database and don't
check it too much, so no use no problems
Good luck in your choice
