size=2>That's what I like about your system. Makes a lot more
sense than ours, IMHO. You have price targets and stops which
effectively manage your trade for you. OTOH, our system just calls
the next turn in the market, either up or down, and we play the
probability that we're right 75% of the time in calling the trade
correctly. We have no idea where we're going ;) or where we'll end
up. By adding some of your approach, we might be able to exit
certain trades earlier with more profit.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

was hit at 98 5/8, but I was definitely surprised when my buy stop
on AOL was hit at 165 1/8. That was 5 points above Friday's
close so I didn't even send the AOL chart out Saturday. Then
it went on and gained another 8 points after it hit my buy
stop. Talk about momentum! </FONT></DIV>

hit my buy stop, but WMT barely closed at a new all time high.
Therefore, I'm going to cancel my GTC buy stop on HD and buy WMT in

After replacing OLE, my next project will be to automate my the system as
well. I currently mark each days results in another spreadsheet and
maintain 4 different approaches. The first maintains a linkage between
Bonds and the S&P (which appears to have broken last year but did work for
the previous 12 years). The second ignores the Bonds. The third is our
Intermediate signal and the 4th is a combination of #2 and #3, requiring
both to trade. That's the one that's been long since 10/1/98.
We normally trade #2 and will be trading #4, maybe in a separate account.
