Yes and no <G>. When I first start a STUTC I do use the standard
deviation channel with the deviation set at 1 for the stop and set at 2 for
the target. After a couple of good pullbacks, which is a subjective
judgment on my part, I'll change to a channel constructed using Trader Vic
type trend lines. I do this because I like Trader Vic type channels better,
but several people I know just use the standard deviation channels since
they can be constructed automatically in MetaStock. If you would like them,
I can send you several old posts on my investment strategy and my building
block approach.
