Market Forecaster provides a simple, short-term market timing system using S&P

Stock Market Forecaster significantly outperformed the S&P 500 this week as
ProFunds advanced nearly 4% and Rydex about 4.5%, while the S&P declined
nearly 1.5%. The advantages of a good market timing strategy came through as
we were long for the Tuesday/Wednesday rally and short for the large Thursday
decline. We were wrong in going long for Friday, but all-in-all a very good
week. On a year-to-date basis, ProFunds' is up 2.68% and Rydex is ahead by
5.60% both easily beating the S&P which has declined by 0.33%. For the last 12
months (since January 22, 1998), Profunds has gained nearly 3 times the S&P
and Rydex has gained nearly 2.2 times the S&P. Of course, we cannot guarantee
these results in the future.
