Jim G.

FWIW, we went short last night (S&P @ 1265.50). This is our first short
since 10/1/98.

Our longer term trend is still up so I only took a half position in this
trade (coward that I am :)). This longer term signal does real well, but
doesn't call the tops and bottoms as well as the short term signal we traded
last night (actually 1/6/99 signal date).

After watching the ticker for a while (and being way behind I might add) I
had to take off for a doctor's appointment (where they sucked out my blood
again). I'm thinking of installing a tap on one of my arteries just to make
it easier.

Anyway, that's all from here. We're still awaiting the reversal in our long
term signal to really go short. This short term signal went short
originally @1280.20 at the close on 1/6/99. We didn't trade that one
because our long term signal was still up (from 10/1/98 @994.80).

Haven't looked up where the market closed (March futures), so I have no idea
if this trade is in the black or red as I write this.

Regards

Guy
