Steve,
I don't have it in front of me, but the original book on EquiVolume
charting was published in the 60s by Richard Arms of Arms index fame. He
also had a follow up to that book. I think both had EquiVolume in the
title, but should be easy to find in any large library by the author's name.
If you can't find it yell, and I'll dig my copy out.
