Re: ALERT WINDOW GONE

Considering the 'overwhelming response' this weekend:
if your doing fine then I wouldn't worry about it just for the moment,
as you and us all on the List, will hear more about this patch and its
consequences and Equis solutions for it, for definite.

On the other hand, Equis did explicitly mention this message have to
be returned on completion of the update process,
if and "when the patch patched all files".
If it didn't, some of your files might not have been 'updated', which could
result into programs operating tasks returning errors, perhaps at a later
stage, when duty calls on them.

Myselve, and like many others, were somehow worried sick, and have
taken the necessary procotions where, and if they were ever, possible.

Down the line the update patch, apart from this weekend hic-ups, does
make it all look better, and for some it even runs smoother.
Also using the Multi Adjust Tool did work fine converting for the EURO.
It has no limits(eg the 255 well known maximum files barrier from previous
versions) and was also available to split only 2/3tds or even lesser, of an
entire folder.

Others tho, also myselve incl., cannot convert ASCI-prn files or open some
of the Layouts/Charts/Templates without having program crashes or getting
fresh and new designed error messages being returned, or have
had version conflicts with and between the patch and the 'old' installed
MS65 program, or weren't able to install the patch at all or found Alerts
not being recorded anymore.

Here are just for the moment some findings for the List's
List of notice/visable Advantages & Improvements:

-DL: Last conversion is logged in a file("Conrept.dta")
-DL: Multi Adjust Securities added(no file count restriction)
-DL: Convert Option added for 2 digit dates to ASCI files(+other file types?)
-MS: New security creation command added to the New command(in workmenu)
and available while Charts or Layouts are Open
-MS: Thumbnail pics added to workmenu's commands
-MS: Right extension for trendlines DIRECT as option available(right click for the Shortcut Menu)
-MS: Extended Internet-menu (in workmenu's "Help")

All in all, since you are on the lucky side enjoy while you can, but do keep on
checking the List mails now and again, as there is bound to be more to follow.

Best wishes for the New Year
