Gee, no Help?
Next reply from Equis will be that they have included all of the Help
files with the programs, as was with the 6.0 and 6.5 programs when
some errors occured for which Help buttons were made to fix it and
pressing the Help button ended up in No Help file(s) from the program makers.
The message resulting from Win95/98 OS will refer you to the program makers
or your supplier for the missing "part".
But they haven't got a clue "What Help files are missing". As example below is
an old mail to EqSupp on the subject of the still MISSING HELP FILES and
note also the date it was send.
As to the answer to your question, be refered to my (many of) mailings to the List this
weekend, as like yourselve, I got these Error messages too when Layout, Templates
& Charts were calling upon(referencing to) custom formulas after applying the new Patch.
The 'answer' as I can see for the moment is that
-a. the particular Chart(in Layout) uses a date no longer back then 19961231
while actual data goess way back to f.i. 1980 and is loaded from 1992
(Load min 1250 periods Option on "Open")
-b. the particular indicators error-message gets displayed twice(2x), eg click
the first one away with OK and the next same message will appear(or re-appear?)
-c. my workaround for the moment(until I have a real answer) is to make GIF screenshots
now at all times oif any definite versions and then re-build any of the "corrupted" Layouts,
Templates or Charts.

What help files are missing? I am not aware that there are any
missing, did you choose the option to install them? What type of
installation did you perform, complete/custom, laptop?
