Sadly AIQ will not directly read MS data. You need
DTU for importing and exporting data. One nice thing though is that
with it you can export Groups and Indices that you have constructed in
AIQ. I use surrogate Rydex Groups made up of the top ten holdings and
find it very useful in MS to have volume to work with. This enables me
to use Arms type charts and indicators and OBV, Cash Flow etc. The
correlation is about .9 with the funds as I remember.

Bill, don't you need the DTU? If
not, then perhaps I will reactivate AIQ. I won't pay for or mess
with DTU; I think AIQ prices too many of its modules that should be
included with the program, and I have never had DTU. I also am
sick of converting data.

Dan, I would love to use the
program but it won't work with AIQ. AIQ works with MS data
very well. The problem is that AIQ uses Market data that is
unique to the program. It is a bundled transmission having DJI
price and several NYSE statistics.

MS 6.5 - forget about it..

Alton:
I went
to the TASC site and looked over the EOD AIQ features.
Looks like it can read MetaStock data. QP2 has a
"virtual" program which allows you to create
"virtual" folders with "simulated" MetaStock
files in them. If you use the QP2 Virtual program, you can
use AIQ and read your QP2 data. You can now start using
your EOD AIQ program again (if you haven't erased it yet).

Contrary to what the members of this ListServ believe, there
are limitations to the QP2 database. Do not create
MetaStock composites in your "Virtual" folders.
If you do use the virtual folders, every time you make changes,
your MS Smartcharts and composites will be erased. QP has
not come out with a fix yet but they have promised one soon.

Always glad to help.
Daniel. <IMG align=absBottom

Market Analyst [which will
read QP soon I'm led to
