		<DD>This is a patch for 6.52. It corrects a couple of minor problems in The DownLoader. You have to have installed either 6.52 from the CD or have upgraded to 6.52 from one of the 6.52 patches. This will work for either Signal or BMI. <I>(dated 10/20/98, 229Kb)</I></P>

<p>Download the file and double-click on it.  The patch will install automatically. Once it is installed you will receive a message telling you the programs were successfully patched.  After the patch has installed, reboot your computer to run MetaStock Professional.</p>

<p>This Patch will patch open files. If you inadvertently apply this patch while the Equis Data Server and the Equis File Server are running the patch will continue and tell you that you must reboot for the changes to take affect. 		<DD>This patch fixes a no vendor problem in the DownLoader 6.51 for use with BMI.  To apply this patch, place the file in the folder with DLWin.exe and double-click on it. <I>(dated 9/11/97, 379 Kb)</I></P>

	<LI><B>dlw_up.exe</B>
		<DD>This patch fixes a volume problem in the DownLoader 6.5 (decimal point) when manually entering data in a data sheet.  To apply this patch, place the file in the folder with DLWin.exe and double-click on it. <I>(dated 2/9/97, 272 Kb)</I></P>

	<LI><B>dl65scrp.dta</B>
		<DD>This file contains a script to connect to Dow Jones using the CompuServe Data Network.  Replace the existing DL65scrp.dta file in the DLWin folder.  Select USA, CompuServe from the network drop down list.</P>
<P>This file will work for all versions of The DownLoader since version 3.0.  To use this file in earlier versions, rename the file DLxxscrp.dta, where xx is the version of your The DownLoader, round numbers only.  For example: DL30scrp.dta; DL35scrp.dta; DL40scrp.dta; DL60scrp.dta. <I>(dated 3/30/98, 5,103 bytes)</I></P> 

	<LI><B>qc.exe</B> 
		<DD>The DownLoader for Windows 95/NT version 6.5. This patch corrects a network logon problem with US Robotics Sportster WinModems (and other WinModems made by USR), as well as Gateway Telepath WinModems. It corrects a problem collecting current quotes from Telescan as well as a log off change for CompuServe.</P>
 <P><B><I>Instructions:</I></B> Place the file in the DLWin 6.5 folder and double-click on it. It does the rest.</P>

		<DD>The 52e.exe file is a patch file for The Technician version 5.2d.  It should only be applied to version 5.2d.  If you are NOT currently using version 5.2d, please contact Equis Support to obtain an upgrade to version 5.2e.  The patch file upgrades The Technician to version 5.2e which corrects many data limits in 5.2d, including the S&P 500.  To apply the patch follow the instructions below.

	<LI>Download the patch file to your local hard drive.
	<LI>Copy the <I>52e.exe</I> file to your existing Technician directory (i.e. \tech52).
	<LI>Run the file from there and choose Yes to overwrite the existing files.
	<LI>Open the file Nolimits.txt and follow the instructions to historically correct the limits.

Guy,

I forgot to mention this about Primate QM-  Even though it will recognize MS
data from other sources, for example, historical data from the MS Reuters
CD, the symbols will be Reuters and would have to be edited to match what
Primate uses.  For example Dec Wheat would be /W8Z.
