The instructions are below. All you have to
do is CONVERTING\ EXPORTING THE DATA and VIEWING DATA IN A 3
RD PARTY

Converting TC2000 Data Files from Version 4 to Version 3 for use by
TC2000 Version 3 or Third Party Software
Note: These instructions show you how to transfer your TC2000 data
files. These instructions assume that your TC2000 is on hard disk drive
C: and you installed TC2000 Version 4 to the default directory of
C:\Program Files\TC2000\. If this is not the case you will need to
substitute the correct drive letter in the instructions below. This is
a one way conversion of data; it can not be reversed. Please read the
entire set of instructions before beginning the conversion procedure.
Worden Brothers does not provide any additional support for these
instructions.
Converting/Exporting the Data
1. In TC2000 Version 4, Select Data, Then Export to Files.
2. Select the chart List to Export you want to convert and select
Preset Configuration of TC2000 Version 3.x.
3. Select the Number of Days to Export and Export Path of
C:\Program Files\TC2000\Export.
4. Click on Export.
5. Exit TC2000 Version 4.
Viewing the Data with TC2000 Version 3 (Note: TC2000 Version 4 must be
on the same hard drive as Version 3.)
1. Export the wanted data per the instructions above.
2. In TC2000 Version 3, Press F5 Twice.
3. Select Edit the path setting manually and enter
\Progra~1\TC2000\Export\.
4. Press ENTER and then F10
5. Use TC2000 Version 3 to view the data.
Viewing the Data with Third Party Software
1. Export the wanted data per the instructions above.
2. Start the Third Party Software and go to where you select source
or path for data.
3. Enter C:\Program Files\TC2000\Export\.
4. Use Third Party Software view the data.
Copying the Data for use on another computer
1. Export the wanted data per the instructions above.
2. In Windows 95: Click on START|Programs|Windows Explorer.
3. Go to and select the C:\Program Files\TC2000\Export folder in
the left window.
4. Highlight the Export folder.
5. Select Edit and then Copy on the top line menu.
6. Place a blank diskette in the floppy disk drive.
7. Go to and select the 3 1/2 Floppy (A:) Drive Icon in the left
window.
8. Select Edit and then Paste on the top line menu.
9. When Windows Explorer tells you the disk is full, replace the
disk and select Retry. This fills the next disk.
10. Repeat step 6 until all data has been transferred.
