Exploration on Weekly Data

All,

Using the Explorer I am trying to automate some analysis that I usually
perform visually on weekly data.  The exploration runs fine if I am
running it at the weekend when I have already collected data for
Friday.  But if I run the same exploration on, say, a Wednesday when I
have only a partly completed bar on the weekly chart it doesn't work.
Metastock 6.5 'ignores' the current weekly bar.  So the way the program
stands now I can only run the weekly exploration at the end of the week
rendering it useless in  generating mid-week signals on weekly data.

Equis & list:  Equis support have already confirmed that this feature is
intentional.  Is there a way around this feature?

Equis: If there is no way around it, will consideration be given for the
functionality to be included in the next release or even better for an
interim patch to be issued?
