Re: Autorun and Metastock

Thanks to all you who responded to my request for help with combining Autorun and Metastock.

I have built a script file now to perform multiple system tests. I will now print the hardcopy
results and bang the results into excel for to determine the profitablility over the long term.

Thanks again for your support.

PS. Have you noticed how the buy and hold statistic in the system test results page works from day
1 of the data displayed, while the system you are testing may not make a trade until 18 months
later (particularly if you are using a 200 day m.a. in you filter). I think the buy and hold stat
should not kick in until you perform your first trade to get an apples to apples comparison.

Or you just have to be mindful of this little fact when you compare your results against the buy
and hold strategy.
