Ian,
By clicking on the x-axis (the horizontal one on the bottom) you can
alter the properties, including the number of blank days to the right
of the chart.
Since I am not in the program now, I cannot swear if it is a right
click or a left click.
I do extend trend channels frequently and this works well. What I
haven't been able to figure
out is how to change the default setting to allow more blank space to
the right.
