Re: Backing up virtual to tape

Yes, and even though the virtual files themselves are only about 2MB for the
entire QP database, my Seagate backup software that comes with the Iomega
Ditto detects them as about 500MB. Basically doubled my entire backup size
(when it worked)! Eventually had to eliminate the the virtual directories
from the backup job. It will a pain if I ever have to rebuild them though.

On the subject of QP2, the Fkey functions that call up a displayed indices
components doesn't seem to work for me on indices other than the DJ. Annette
at tech support tentatively said they do work but she'd get back to me. That
was a few weeks ago. Anybody else have the same problem? Also, every time I
reinstall the program or an update, I have to refresh the Start menu
shortcuts to get them to work. Most annoying!

cheers,
Rick
