Harley,
The problem is with Chart Tips. This is the small yellow box which appears
when you place the mouse pointer over a chart in Metastock V6.5. It gives
information about the chart item to which you are pointing. It is turned
off/on using Tools/Options/Chart Options/Show Chart Tips.
Tool Tips is a generic Win 95/98 drop down box which gives a brief
description of the button/toolbar item to which you are pointing, and is
available in many programs.
I am sure Microsoft will say that Tool Tips is working correctly in Win98,
whereas the problem with Chart Tips in Metastock is a Metastock problem. It
is dissappointing that the functionality has changed between Win95 and 98.
Metastock is now one of the very few Win95 programs I know of which does not
run correctly under Win98.
Regards
Ian
