I know you know this Richard, but for the benefit of those who
haven't heard it said before...Technifilter 8.x does multiple securities
and systems, and has the built in automation feature for automating
EVERYTHING at once, so you can just walk away from the computer,
and come back when it's done.
It also works MUCH faster in bringing up charts from the MS file format
than Metastock does ! (instantaneous, with just typing in the symbol)
It also allows nested lists, ascii format list making (you can make a list
of
stocks with any notepad-type text editor), and point and figure programmable
explorations....
I like and use Metastock 6.5, but find the Technifilter indispensable. Add
the IRL software, and you have a very powerful and file-compatible (!!!)
setup
for screening the entire market for under $1000.
