No, I haven't used Linnsoft's Investor/RT but I did download their User
Guide to get an idea of the capabilities. The User Guide is in Adobe
Acrobat format and can be printed out (118 pages); the Guide is for
version 2.6, while the current software is v. 3.0.  I think Investor/RT
would be good for charting real-time (and end-of-day) data; there are
about 40 canned indicators, and a scan feature corresponds to
MetaStock's explorations. There seems to be no ability to create custom
indicators, which kills it for me (I'm trying to find something to chart
RT but without MetaStock's programming limitations).

Neither have I tried InterQuote. Data providers are a regular topic on
this list, but I don't recall any mention of InterQuote (anyone out
there ... please?). If you dig into the site you find they have
Canadian and American stocks, funds, futures, options and indices;
real-time and delayed tick service plus end-of-day service, all at
remarkably low prices. Delayed tick data plus EOD (US)$19.95/mo. or
EOD alone $45/yr. sounds pretty good to me if the quality is acceptable.
