Michael

If you find anything interesting send me a copy. I've just started taking a
VB 5.0 programming class and have looked at a tutorial for Access97. The
only thing I have done so far is to link my MS data to an Excel spreadsheet.
That works fine except when I change months on the future. At that point I
have to reconnect it even though my symbol hasn't changed, the tag used by
Microsoft in OLE has. The month is part of the symbols name. I would much
prefer using just the name field as opposed to a combination of the name and
symbol

Regards

Guy

Subject:	Linking to Excel and Access?

All
I have Win 95, P-166, and have recently bought Office 97 to do basic
study in "Computer Business Applications", to sharpen my computer
skills, and indirectly, my trading.
Does anyone on the list have any relevant (to Metastock 6.5) Excel or
Access templates, macros, techniques or other material they are willing
to share with me, that I can get into as the course develops? I'm
excited by its potential in the first three weeks. Ain't relational
databases wonderful (G).
Reply off-list if appropriate.

With anticipatory gratitude,
Michael
