Greetings,
In the Metastock (V6.5) downloader after you convert some files (eg CSV)
a conversion report is generated.
Sometimes for some securities there is a number bigger than one.
When you click on it, it gives the number of records added and
discarded.

So what is a "discarded" record?
Is this when you have a duplicate date in a security (eg if you
converted an end of day data file twice, will each security have one
added record and one discarded due to being a duplicate).

Cheers,
Craig.
