Has anybody been able to get this to work reliably? I've been playing with
it for several months now and it now is totally screwed up.
It used to work fairly well before I installed the latest 6.5 upgrade.
Before the upgrade, I could use it to connect my chart with my Excel
spreadsheet. At least until I made a change to the name and symbol. So
even if I maintained the Chart name, by changing months on my futures data,
it would cause the OLE to get completely confused. I would then have to
delete all of the relevant MS data in one of my spreadsheets and go through
a couple of iterations to get the spreadsheet connected up to the MS data
again.
Since installing the MS upgrade, I haven't been able to use OLE to connect
my T Bond futures data to Excel.
Working with the new releases of MS is really getting frustrating, to say
the least. This coupled with MS for Window's inability to perform my
indicator calculations relegating me to MS for DOS v4.5. Don't know why
Equis isn't able to take advantage of the 64Mb of RAM. In MS DOS, they were
at least able to use memory for calculations.
TIA if anybody has some suggestions as to getting this OLE up and running
again.
