Tom,

I, too am learning it.  According to the on line manual, you do not
specify long or short.  The program determines, from past seasonal
trends, the most profitable trade trend: long or short.  You can,
however determine the trend in dollar amounts or percent of times
correct.  

In the Dmark instance that I refered to in an earlier post, I changed
the dates to an entry on the 15th of June to the 19th (next week) and
the seasonal then agreed with my chart....the trade favors the long
side.

As you know, with commodities, you can read the market correctly as to
direction, and, because of a day or two of timing error, be hung out to
dry.  If this FutureSource helps with the time of entry and exit, this
will, perhaps keep one from getting in the hole at the offset.  It sure
is tough to have the direction on a 100 point move and not realize the
full profit because you had to start from a deficit of 45 or 50 points.
I am very excited with the experiments I have done with the program.
