Traders,

Is there a formula that will return the number of bars between two points
on a chart?

Likewise, is there a formula that will return a date when adding a number
to a date on the chart?

I am interested in building a 'indicator' that plots a histogram of possible
future turning points based on gann/fibonacci, numbers/ratios and past
swings.  The past swings would be labeled (A, B, C, etc.) by the user by
using the text tool.  The formula would then count forward from each of
these points using a defined set of numbers.  Each bar on the histogram
would 'grow' taller the more times that date is 'hit' from each of the past
swing points.

There are similar plots available in Nature's Pulse, Dynamic Trader and
WaveWi$e.  I am hoping it can be done in MetaStock as well.
