I tried Nirvana 3.0 and have a copy of the previous version on my disk
somewhere.  Needless to say it isn't in my daily toolbox.  The only thing I
found useful in the Nirvana set was the ability to optimize a MACD for each
particular stock based on it's past history.  I think we all know MACD at some
settings works well with some stocks and absolutely stinks for others.  Nirvana
optimizes the periods to get the buy/sell signals correct for each individual
stock you are looking at and for the timeframe you are looking at (short trade,
medium length trade, or long term).

Draws nice graphs with trendlines also.  If you want to see an oldstyle graph
