Your thoughts on speculation carry a lot of truth. The rotation between blue
chips and spec stocks has historically followed a relatively set pattern.
But with the recent changes in the tax laws, that pattern must be modified
to some degree. With the lower capital gains tax, growth stocks now appear
more attractive than higher quality yield stocks.
