Harley,
Did you fall into the trap of those neophytes who are not interested in
the finer workings of MetaStock and the systems that can be derived from
same? Don't let them sway you from your intended purpose of educating those
of us who look to learn of things new, by others who find it a burden to
download a .gif chart. Charts are the most important aspect of MetaStock.
For not charts, what is MetaStock. A chart is worth a 1,000 words and just
by looking at one you can tell what is going on. However I have no clue what
your GDI.gif is - no dates, no prices, no time period. As far as I can tell
it could be a chart from 1936 with GDI selling at $240 per share. It's
usefullness in the format presented is questionable. My request to you is to
go back to the old way and send the whole chart.

Gee a 9k .gif. How cute.
Well I weinied out on GDI. The diamonds show where I started & stopped.
I sold at 40 13/16 and covered at 40 1/2 on 200 shares. What had
happened was that I only wanted 100 shares. So I was a bit more over
extended in my account. The other problem was that I had opened another
account in Datek. To fund that account I used funds from my other Datek
account. So capitalization was the real problem. Otherwise I would of
stuck it out.
As you can see by the chart that it had dropped as low as 36 1/2 two
days later.
By sending this you can see how far GDI pulled back from the top of the
channel using the superposition stochastics.
On the chart top indicator rate of change of stochastics, superposition
stochastics and of course the price.
