Hi Carlin,
If this helps you, I bought a book about a technique / system dealing with
Open Interest, title: "The Power Index Method", by Harold Goldberg,
published by Windsor Books. Don't remember the price, but may be
around $50 to $60. Since it was written more than 10 years ago, it
explains a procedure quite rudimentary for number crunching; with today's
computer's and spreadsheet progrrams like Excel, it a lot easier to
do the job.
