David Radtke replied:

Read the book "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator" by Edwin Lefevere.
Trading is a one man operation, and by no means do you tell anyone about
your position in the market. That's the way the game is played. If you
don't like it, find another game.

Mr. Radtke,

I will take exception with your comment to Mr. Kornberg. I have attended
many investment seminars and have
seldom seen a successful trader that would not share ideas with other
traders. I will go to the Dow Jones
Telerate seminar next month. There will be over 30 speakers sharing their
learnings. Of equal value is the
association of the more than 500 traders/investors that usually
attend----the making of new friends, re-newing
old friendships, and sharing of ideas.

Mr Edwin Lefevere's comments were probably valid in the 20's and 30's when
you had low volume and the market
makers took large positions. Since the world currency markets trade over
600 trillion dollars a day, I do not
believe it will affect my position for all on this list to know that I sold
short 1 Dec D-mark today at .5680!!

I have this plaque on my office wall, the quote I will share with you:

"It's good to be a seeker, but sooner or later you have to be a finder.
And then it is well to give what you have found, a gift into the world for
whoever will accept it." ---Jonathan Livingston Seagull.
