This is my first time to the list. Background is nuclear/electrical engineering. I currently design network computers for a living. Became interested in trading 10 years ago by collecting books at flea markets and garage sales. Have collected over 150 books on the market. My wife tells me I am always looking for a more efficient way to lose money. Now, with MS, I can really accelerate the process!
I believe we have another decade of bull market due to every Joe Blow baby boomer (like me) pumping money into 401K plan equity mutual funds. This is an automatic system with limited short term reactionary control by the investor. The interesting decade will be when the boomers retire and start withdrawing their money. Maybe retirement real estate in Florida will yield a better return than stocks during that period.
