Being lazy and following 100s of
stocks, I long ago gave up hand massaging a chart. I use Advanced Get that has a
multiude of Gann/Fib tools. they do their job in seconds. I don't apply Gann as
written or all techniques. The same for Canslim which I believe is best means of
selecting stocks. The full application of Gann including the 1/8 process would
fit someone that follows a few markets like futures or a hand-full of stocks. It
can be rewarding. But with 9000+ markets (stocks), if my programs don't do it
with ease, I don't.

A murreymath, while presented in
an odd manner, has something to offer. All variations of Gann and Fib are
uncanny in their ability to predict. A moving average doesn't predict, it just
measures. But Gann or Fib can set targets of Support and Resistance weeks ahead
of time. It allows you to set targets of price moves. The Elliot wave theory is
based on Fibonacci ratios.

Hello!

Stockwiz is sponsoring a forum with Linda Bradford Raschke on August 5th
at 5:30PM PDT. Please join us for this free forum.

Linda was featured in The New Market Wizards: Conversations With America's
Top Traders, has been trading for more than 17 years, and is the author
of Street Smarts with Laurence A Conners. Linda will be available to answer
questions about her trading style and her book with you on this web forum.

For more details, see this page: http://www.halcyon.com/tcorner/stock/lbr.html

We are also glad to announce the release of our new freeware program
called 'StockWiz Search'. StockWiz Search is a Windows 95/NT program
that makes it easy and fast to find financial information on the Web.
You just specify a ticker symbol and from there on you just select
categories such as delayed quotes, intraday charts, news and many others.
For every category you select you are then presented with a list of web
sites that contain that type of information. When you click on 'Go' you
are taken to the page that contains the information for that company.
By avoiding the main pages of all of those sites, by going directly
to the page that has the data and by not having to type anything twice
you save a lot of time. And you never have to remember the names of the
100 or so sites that make such information available for free.
You can download your copy today from http://www.stockwiz.com.

On other fronts - we are nearing completion of our StockWiz for Windows 95
(our stock market price screening software). This version also includes
screening by fundamentals. This release will also be free. Please check
with us in a week or so. Fundamental data for the US markets will also
be available at a low price.

Thanks,
