At one point in time Novell was the market leader in networking software.
After years of believing their own headlines they became another leader in
yesterday's technology. In an attempt to regain the spotlight and compete
with MicroSoft, Novell bought a bunch of great software and made it into
junkware. Realized the error of their ways, sold the junkware and is now
focusing on what made them what they were. One problem, no money. Their
move may be just a ride with the rest of hightech.
