Sorry for the subscribe posting to the list.
I'm trying to switch templates on securities that are smart charts.
As the manual states, loading a smart chart with another template
opens a new chart called "Chart x - security". If you try to save the
new chart you get a Save As dialog.
If you would like to change the templates for a group of securities,
and keep them smart charts, is there any easy way to do this short
of changing default.mwt, or overwriting each security? I'd like to
apply a different templates to different groups of securities and it
seems like if you open a smart chart using a different template or
change it by applying a new template once it is open that it should
retain the new template, not create a new chart.
While I have everyone's attention, has anyone requested that you
be able to create composite securities with the securities in different
directories? This seems like an easy change to the program. It would
also be nice if you could use functions to create composites instead of
just simple add, subtract, multiply, divide.
