Q on system tester functions

greets,

  i am still working on building my first system tester.  i have gotten 
it to work as i desire, however, i am currently forced to check for the 
previous *three* days being negative values, through the following series 
of lines:

Ref(OscP(opt1,opt2,S,%), -1) < 0 AND
Ref(OscP(opt1,opt2,S,%), -2) < 0 AND
Ref(OscP(opt1,opt2,S,%), -3) < 0 AND


  i would like to the test to check for a range of 1-4 days with 
preceeding values less than zero.  so, using a 'opt3', i tried to rewrite 
the above into:

barssince(OscP(opt1,opt2,S,%) > 0) >= opt3


  however, that does not yield the same results..

  i wonder if someone might have suggestions as to the function i should 
use.  also, if someone could post a ftp or hypertext link to the FAQ, if 
there is one.
