TSRI is one of my learnign experiences. I bought at 46 and have hung onto it as
a learning lesson. It is one of those year 2000 companies. It is also a theme
stock. If you have read the Art of Short Selling then you will know what I
mean. Since it will produce good earnings growth until the year 2000 this is a
company that it is safe to go long with.
The float is small and the bid ask or big ass spread - is just that. About a
1.50 and more at times. The current levels around 20 is a reasonable price. I
am not sure when earnings are going to be out. If they are good or expectations
of them are going to be good expect the price to move up.
Since the float is small it does go like a rocket when it goes.
I actualy expected the price to be higher at this time of the year. But I am
glad to see it is as high as it is and it does seem to have a range of support
in the 17 - 20 dollar range.
Iwould rate this as a somewhat risky investment. Since it can turn down
further. But there is some upside potential that can push this stock much
higher. Also this is a buy and hold until the year 2000 or there abouts. So it
is a long term play.
