Anyone can jump on this-- feel free to do so. Two days ago, out of a
clear blue, hotter than Hades sky, my 486 Amita computer has started
working about half speed. Look fellows, i'm a user, not an expert on
what's inside the box. When I say "half-speed", the little red light
flickering has noticeably slowed. I have run a Scan disk-- no problems
found on c-dr. Also ran Diskopt. 47,600 clusters moved for better
efficiency. Took about one hour and 45 min to complete that operation.
However, no mention made of any corrections to make. Any ideas? Yes,
I'll take it to the computer shop. Hate to be such a complete dummy about
this-- what can cause such a crazy thing? It still performs, but
sooooooo slow. Even hard to get Juno to work. Have to hit a couple
